About Kate

Kate is a British artist, trained in the UK with a BA in Fine Art from Winchester School of Art. She further developed her practice during a year in Milan, where she studied traditional painting and contemporary video art at NABA before graduating in 2015.

Her work is an ongoing exploration of human existence, where she combines her love for the human form with her distinctive line work and expressive use of paint. Through the dynamic interplay of color and form, Kate pushes the boundaries of her painting practice, creating pieces that are both authentic and instinctive, with an underlying sense of playfulness and nostalgia.

A process-driven artist, Kate approaches her work with fearless intuition, continuously evolving and expanding her creative vision.

In 2018, Kate relocated to Melbourne, where she has since built her practice and exhibited internationally. Kickstarting her entry to the gallery world in 2021, her debut solo show at Saint Cloche in Sydney was a sell out.  She has since exhibited in Singapore, Melbourne,Sydney , Los Angeles, and London. Kate currently works full time as an artist in her studio, located on Kabi Kabi country in Noosa, Australia.
