I like these moments. Of cutlery clinking and nods of approval to the kitchen. Hiccups and endless chatter. The remnants of heart and soul linger on guest's plates. Food has a way of creating space for anyone and everyone – I have enjoyed many meals surrounded by new faces, connected by the meals in front of us and bonded by flavours, scents and a desire for connection.
