Perhaps as a gesture or gentle suggestion for us to take notes from, horses always arrive uninvited, curious and with eyes only for the good stuff. No meddling around with small talk or pleasantries. Bridles and boundaries replaced with hopeful faces, full plates and a benevolent moment to share.
Nosing their way in to be a part of the company, these four legged friends are my favourite companion to share with—whether it be the landscape, wild things or afternoon tea.
